About the Fellowship
The Goldfarb Family Fellowship offers writers of creative nonfiction a fully-funded two-week VCCA residency at Mt. San Angelo. The fellowship was established in 2000 through the generosity of writer, literary agent, and former VCCA Board Member Ronald Goldfarb and is sponsored by The Robert and Aida Goldfarb Art Law Literary Fund.
The residency includes a private bedroom with private bath, a separate individual studio, and all meals provided in a community of cross-disciplinary artists.

Residencies Available: January 2 – April 30, 2023
Length of Fellowship: Two weeks
Application Deadline: May 15, 2022
Application Fee*: $30
Notification by: August 31, 2022
To be considered for a Goldfarb Family Fellowship for Creative Nonfiction, complete the “Application for Mt. San Angelo Residencies, VCCA in Virginia – Winter 2023,” selecting your fellowship interest in the first question.
* If the $30 application fee presents a hardship, applicants should reach out to Artists Services at vcca@vcca.com to request an application fee waiver.
