About the Fellowship
Initiated in 2005 and funded by the L.E.A.W. Family Foundation, the Montana Fellowship provides a fully-funded one-month residency for selected writers, visual artists, and composers from Montana in an effort to target underserved regions. The VCCA residency at Mt. San Angelo includes a private bedroom with private bath, a separate individual studio, and three meals a day in a community of cross-disciplinary artists.
Application Details
Eligibility: Writers, visual artists, and composers living in Montana
Residencies Available: January 6 – April 30, 2025
Length of Fellowship: One month
Application Deadline: May 15, 2024
Application Fee*: $30
Notification by: August 31, 2024
To be considered for the Montana Fellowship, simply complete the “Application for Mt. San Angelo Residencies, VCCA in Virginia – Winter 2025.” Eligible applicants living in Montana will automatically be considered.
