VCCA Connects: Bringing Art to the Community
The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) is thrilled to continue its new traveling event series in our region! In partnership with neighboring community spaces, we’re connecting local art lovers to the creative work of VCCA Fellows who visit VCCA from around the world. Each program features a small group of VCCA Fellows who share their creative work and answer questions from the audience.
VCCA Connects events are always free and open to the public.

Thank you to Riverviews Artspace for hosting the third installment of VCCA Connects on March 9, 2026! Three VCCA Fellows — translator Kurt Beals, composer Andrea Clearfield, and writer Kasia Nikhamina — shared their work with the community.
Thank you to the Daura Museum of Art for hosting our second VCCA Connects event on November 19, 2025! Four VCCA Fellows — poet Wo Chan, landscape painter Roxanne Everett, composer and cellist Ana Gamboa, and composer and haegeum performer Yeji Kim — shared their work with the community.
