Show Your Support

It takes a community of committed and generous people to sustain our work and mission. VCCA must raise 50% of its operating budget each year to support the hundreds of writers, visual artists, and composers from around the world who benefit from a VCCA residency experience. All proceeds will benefit the Annual Fund — VCCA’s single most important revenue source.

Sponsorship Packages will go on sale in November 2025. Please consider purchasing a Sponsorship Package to support VCCA’s 2026 Spring Soirée as a corporation/business or as a group/table.

Tickets for general admission will go on sale in March 2026.

A Midsummer Night's Gala

2025 Event Recap

A Midsummer Night’s Gala

It was a pleasure to welcome nearly 100 guests to VCCA’s beautiful hilltop home at Mt. San Angelo on Saturday, June 14, 2025, for our biggest fundraising event of the year — a festive celebration of the food, creativity, and landscape that make VCCA’s flagship artist residency program so special.

The VCCA Hay Barn came alive with a magical ambiance for the evening thanks to the creativity and support of local musicians and vendors:

🎹  Pianist Everett Godwin kicked off the celebration with ragtime tunes.
🍽  Meriwether Godsey served a delightful array of food and cocktails.
💐  Fox Grape Designs delivered stunning floral arrangements.
🎷  The Regency Quartet featuring Shawn Spencer capped off the night with jazz.

A heartfelt thank you to the anonymous donor who made a $10k night-of matching gift challenge possible — and to everyone who made a gift that evening! Thanks also to the supporters who participated in our silent auction, bidding on and walking away with pieces of art generously donated by VCCA Fellows over the years. Last but certainly not least, thank you to our 2025 sponsors and Host Committee.
