This day of global giving that celebrates the power of human connection is the perfect time to show your love for VCCA and our growing artist community. $3K Matching Donation
Thanks to the support of an anonymous donor, the first $3,000 donated to VCCA for GivingTuesday will be matched one-to-one! Donations made at vcca.com/50th-anniversary-fund on November 29, and all donations made via VCCA’s GivingTuesday fundraiser on Facebook will contribute toward the matching goal.
50th Anniversary Fund
This year, your GivingTuesday gift to VCCA will support our 50th Anniversary Fellowships for Artists of Color into the future. As you may know, we established the 50th Anniversary Fund this year as an initiative to help ensure that VCCA’s community of artists reflects the diversity of the U.S. population.
Thanks to generous supporters like you, we’ve already met our goal to fund 50 free residencies for artists of color who are new to VCCA. Since launching our 50th Anniversary Fellowship program, we’ve seen the most diverse applicant pool to date, and for the first time ever, a majority of the Fellows scheduled for an upcoming residency season self-identify as people of color. We’re off to a good start, and we hope you’ll help us keep going.
