My debut novel, The Hunger Artist, nurtured with great care in the VCCA's corn crib, has been named a finalist for the Library of Virginia’s People’s Choice Award in fiction for 2015. Bless these fine people for plucking me from obscurity. My little self-published book is going up against two from St Martin’s Press, one from Minotaur, and one from Doubleday. Ouch.Public voting is open from May 1st through June 30th on-line at the link below. I’ll be plugging the VCCA and the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation along the way, and I sincerely thank them for the time and support.http://www.lva.virginia.gov/public/litawards/vote.asp
