Gifts of Stock
One of the easiest ways to give to the VCCA is through an electronic transfer of stock.
Before making a transfer, please contact the Development Office at 434-946-7236, or email Emily Joseph so that VCCA can make arrangements to receive the stock.
Then contact your broker and provide the following information:
Account Name: Virginia Center for the Creative Arts
Account Number: 8581-5291
DTC Number: 0702
Scott & Stringfellow
Attn: Christi Metcalf
810 Main Street
Lynchburg, VA 24504
Reference: (Donor’s Name)
Please indicate the designation of your gift – such as annual operating, memorial, pledge payment or campaign.
Tributes, In-Kind Gifts
Special tributes can be made by making a gift in honor of, or in memory of, a person or project. An acknowledgment will be sent to the designee or their family and the gift will be recognized in the VCCA Annual Report.
There are many opportunities to make an in-kind gift to VCCA from donated hours to usable equipment and furnishings.
Corporate matching gifts are a great way for you to maximize your VCCA contribution. By taking advantage of a company's offer to double or even triple the amount, you significantly increase the impact of your gift.
A charitable planned gift to VCCA will help protect the future of this organization and its ability to continue the important work of supporting artists. It can be as simple as including VCCA in your will, or choosing a giving vehicle that allows donors of all income levels to give to charity in more significant ways than they could otherwise.
The Legacy Society of the VCCA: Friends Funding the Future honors those who have invested in the future vibrancy and strength of VCCA through a bequest or a planned gift.
If you have any questions regarding a planned gift or the VCCA Legacy Society, email Emily Joseph or call her at 434-946-7236.
