Kebbel Villa at Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus
Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus in Schwandorf, Germany
The Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus is housed in the Kebbel-Villa, originally built as a private residence in 1890. It is now a cultural facility for the town of Schwandorf in southern Germany.
VCCA has four Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus residency opportunities each year: two for visual artists, one for a composer, and one for a writer. Each residency is for six weeks. Fellows are housed at the Künstlerhaus II, a modern live-work space, in nearby Fronberg. The facility features private bedrooms, a shared living area and kitchen. A stipend of 15,00€ a day is provided for food.
