There's nothing swanky about the VCCA. But we do have a swimming pool on the grounds, which is greatly appreciated from June through September. Two short wilderness trails lead through a hardwood forest and offer solitude when you need it. Phone jacks and wireless connection sites in the library and barn provide access to the Internet and email. Laundry facilities are located in the Fellows' Residence.
Just across Highway 29 is Sweet Briar College, located on 3,000 pristine acres. Fellows enjoy access to libraries, recreational facilities and computer labs and may attend campus events.
