Inaugural Alonzo Davis Fellowship Awarded to Hartford Writer Rafael Oses The VCCA has awarded the first Alonzo Davis Fellowship to writer Rafael Oses of Hartford, Connecticut. Initiated by Fellow, artist and former board member Alonzo Davis, the fellowship was established as an endowment to support artists who are American citizens of African or Latino descent, and provides residencies for the most highly qualified applicants.
